Queens Flat Roof Coating restores weathered TPO single-ply roofs with coating systems that seal the surface and add years of life. Coating over a sound TPO roof re-establishes a fresh, seamless, reflective waterproof layer without tearing the membrane off. TPO relies on a thin top layer that slowly weathers away under UV exposure, and once it thins the membrane becomes vulnerable and hard to weld or repair. A coating restoration rebuilds that protective surface with a fresh reflective membrane bonded over the existing sheet. It renews the roof before the TPO fails outright, extending its service life without a replacement.
The heat-welded seams and the flashings around vents, curbs, and drains are where an aging TPO roof leaks first. We clean and prime those details and reinforce them with polyester fabric set into the coating so they are locked into the new membrane. That detail work turns a roof full of aging joints into one continuous, sealed surface.
TPO is usually specified for its reflectivity, and that benefit fades as the white surface weathers and dirties. A fresh reflective top coat restores it, bouncing away up to roughly 85 percent of the sun to keep the building cooler and cooling costs down.
